And so the day came at last.
I didn´t believe until the last seconds and I don´t believe even now. And I don´t hink I can really describe what it was like now...and never ....you know ..it´s just ....I don´t want to be another person who is lying to everyone. You just don´t know how it is like if you aren´t there. Because it so good....it´s better than anything in this world.

Me and my friends, we went to Prague by a train. We were 7 and in Prague I met with another friend. We separated with girls and I went to my friend´s dorm, I was going to go to Olomouc after the live, so I took a few things from home, so I could stay there. I needed to leave them somewhere so I used her. Thanks a lot. And it was 5 pm. when me and her arrived to Akropolis, the venue where the whole live took its place. I was kind of surprised by the amount of people waiting there. I was expecting a lot of people, but not so many and not so soon. They were all so so cool. Some people could be stamped as "A feast for the eyes"....seriously. Dir en grey tour bus was in front of the place, so we took a photos in front of it.


And then we waited....they let us in at about 6:20, the live was supposed to begin at 7 pm. I managed to get quite close, I was standing in like 3rd or 4th row, more on the left side. I decided to stand there because I love Toshiya very much and also I am major Shinya lover...to be honest, I simply adore that man. I thought that it would have been easier to see him from the side. However the stage was so small and there were no railings that I was almost like in the middlle, I could see the spot where Kyo was standing very good and also Die´s place was viewable. This was really the first time I was greteful I am as tall as I am.


In the end Sa Bir started to play at about 7: 20.....also there was supposed to be a support band,but no one really came ... I was quite afraid the fans would have "booooed" them out. By that time everyone was so excited and shouting "Dir en grey".

And then Shinya came out and I gasped ..... I was like "HOLY SHIT. I SEE SHINYA WITH MY OWN EYES. " Those guys are really good looking by the way.I mean I have seen tons of pictures, but with the knowledge that photoshop and such things exist....you know.....they were seriously drop-dead gorgeous. I don´t really remember who came after Shinya and so on, but soon they were all on the stage and started rocking hard.

I loved it ..I just regret they didn´t play Incovenient Ideal and Ware Yami Tote, but besides that... I love them for playing quite a big amount of older songs.... I was seriously shocked when I heard Merciless Cult...I love Kaoru´s vocals in there.

I won´t be describing much of what was happening during live.....I don´t really remember that much except that they were OMFG... I only want to write few things. For example: That Toshiya was teriffic when he was jumping around the stage and daring everyone to shout more, to put our hands in the air more. I was watching his hands all the time as I am trying to learn playing bass. He is seriously a godly player.
That Die´ smile was overwhelming. I have seen it million times in the photos, but nothing can compare to the real thing, his smile is melting and very encouraging.
That Kaoru´s and Kyo´s tattoos look fucking amazing in real life....I couldn´t take my eyes of their arms and Kyo´s belly.
And that Shinya ......aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh, Shinya..........during whole Vinushka I looked only at Shinya. I really wanted to see the man...I am probably terrible fangirl of his....I mean ..he is great in every way.

So it was a bit funny as I was leaning on the right, then on the left, so I could see him behind Kyo and the funniest moments were when I could see him in between of Kyo´s legs. I was waiting for his solo.....I waited till the end and then shouted Shinyaaaa.....jeez I sound really fangirlistic now hahah......
You know, when I was watching all their lives on DVDs, I thought how great his drumming is and everything...but when I actually saw him live and I saw what expression he had on his face, his head leaning back and on the sides, his hair literally flying everywhere..... I have never ever seen someone so commited for what he is doing..i know, it might be compared to Gazette´s Kai for example, maybe to other musicians, but still..it is not the same. He is totally gorgeous in everything he does.

After they played Toguro ....I love that song, I was rocking really hard, and also...really, everyone had their fists in the air.
And afterwards it happned. I was imensly overjoyed when they started playing Glass Skin....that was the only time I shouted something in japanese .....I shouted: "Nihongo de". meaning exactly "In japanese". I so wanted Kyo to sing it like that and when I heard first words I seriously started crying like hell...because it was in japanese... of course he couldn´t hear me or anything ..it was planned, but stil...... I sang the whole song with him and I cried the whole song ..I think it was only then I really realized who I am seeing and listening to.

When the song ended I needed a little pause from headbanging, I was becoming really thirsty and a bit dizzy. I put my hands down for a while, by the way my arms was aching even 2 days after the show, and suddenly some guy appeared next to me grabbing my hands and shouting at me something like I should be more commited. I thought I was going to kill him..I just needed a pause and he was going to preach about me not being a good fan..... oh, well but whatever.

Then the rest of the live went very good, but when they finished the main set and left for the backstage, everyone was like " WTF...that was too short..now.....is it going to be a encore?" It all happened so quickly, even though they played 15 songs. The fans stayed silent for a bit...then I started shouting ENCORE really loud and many people join me ....so the whole venue was on its feet again. By the way ...as a true fan of my boys I shouted Shinya and Toshiya most of the time ...but the rest of them got their shouts too. XDDD

When they came up to the stage again The Final was the first song. I used to have hair done like Kyo in the PV, so this is kind of my theme song, also one of those I can sing, so again I sang to my heart content ...the perfomance was amazing.
Then another song begun- Saku and this was just so nostalgic that I almost cried again because this was the first song I have ever heard by them. Saku was the begining of everything for me.

And then...very soon the live ended.... everyone was like crazy...and Dir en grey started throwing everything at us.... picks, bottles,....everything. There came the moment I am most angry about.....
I love Die to my bones, but I seriously wanted to see Shinya closer and also to catch his drummstick if possible. However, as Die threw his towel away to the audience, terrible thing happened. At least from my point of view. The fans standing in the front wanted to catch it too and so lot of people leaned backwards. Ss they did this, like about three rows behind the first two couldn´t stand the pressure and people fell down on the ground. I wouldn´t mind so much if it wasn´t so fucking difficult to stand up again. Yes, I fell down too and it was right in the moment when Shinya came forward with his sticks. I really don´t mind I didn´t catch it.....but I so WANTED TO SEE THE MAN. T_ T T_T T_T....
I am always on the verge of crying when I think about this. By the time I managed to stand up again he was gone and I could only stare blankly.


Also during this time I could see what kind of fans were there. Some where seriously crazy and stupid. They were beating other people up and scratching them if they didn´t catch anything. I mean.....I am a big fan and I really wanted something, but I won´t be steeling from others. It´s just plain stupid. I am not the only fan and I am sure everyone wanted something so why should I be so violent??? On the other hand some of the fans were really nice. As we were waiting for the live to begin, I talked to a few and they were really good people and fans. I am glad there are such people too.....and I am sad there are those who are violent...but I guess every fandom has these kinds.

Another funny thing happened later. Die was the last one on the stage and he was literally throwing at us everything he could. Then he kneeled down on the edge of the stage and shake hands with people and so on, but some crazy girls caught him by his scarf around his wrist and didn´t want to let him go...better to say, they wanted the scarf (that was actually stupid). Die was pulling and pulling, but they wouldn´t have let him go. The roadies were coming on the stage by that time and he was still there. The funny thing was the roadies were all laughing at him..... but fortunatelly so was Die .... Suddenly Nora, their tranlsator, ran up there and pulled his scarf too and shouted at those girls :"Dame, dame!" meaning something like "Stop it" or! "You can´t do that!"...Only after that the girls let him go.

Here I want to say that I really liked about Die how sociable he was with the fans. During the whole live he was throwing wild glances and smiles at us and he was shouting something all the time. Of course no one could hear it, it was too much of noise there, they were playing after all. After the live we stayed at the venue as there were only one entrance and exit so we were sure we can see them boarding their tour bus. After about an hour they came out and were heading to the bus, everyone was shouting, and then it became one big applause and they were smiling a bit. Also my friend got from Die a bottle of Jägermaister. LOL.....it´s alcohol..and the bottle wasn´t even empty. XD


After the bus finally left some people started running after it and to our big surprise the tour bus stopped in the end of the street. As I saw this I ran to it as well and there he was again- Die, standing in the doors and handing the beer cans to people and so we made "KANPAAAAAAI" with him and he was smiling like hell again. Ha..... Die really likes his fans. And he really like girls, I think. XD But seriously this was very sweet of him.


In my opinion the live was fantastic. The fans surely enjoyed it. And I think that the band enjoyed it too. I could seriously see Kyo smiling. I mean.....it wasn´t his typical grin or something, it was actual smile....in between of songs he was looking madly at us and then he suddenly smiled. I was quite WTF . I couldn´t believe my eyes. I really hope they felt good in Prague and that they will come again. They just have to!

So can I sum up this?....It´s not really possible, but I will try to do it. And when I remeber that live I always remeber it like this:
There they were: Shinya, so beautiful and commited with his eyes closed or open, Toshiya, so terifficly goofy, biding everyone to rock harder and harder, Kaoru, our leader with such a thick aura of coolness around himsel that it was almost hard to look at himf, Kyo, a little god on the stage, talking to our hearts with his strong voice and Die, smiling so much, literally loving the audience so much that each and every of the fans could feel that they do this live only for us and no one else.

I really wish to tell everyone who couldn´t be there that they don´t have to regret it. But HELL .....they should regret it. IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Dir en grey are not my favourite band anymore for some time now. But it doesn´t matter how much I love deadman or lynch. now.....they are totally different category of music.
Dir en grey have thier place in my rankings,....no I can´t even talk about rankings, because they belong to completly different class of musicians and they are the only one in it.
I will always love this bad, I will always love Dir en grey, no matter how cliche this probably sounds. The thing is that they are the band which caused me to like japanese music very much and that if there weren´t any Dir en grey....I might as well not to be where I am now.
For this I thank you guys! I love you! I love your music! And I am counting days, hours, minutes and seconds till I can see you again...and I swear this wasn´t the last time. I am now in "afterlive" depression. Coz you were so good, so great, so magnificent. And I don´t have enough.....So.....next year....I am going to see them NO MATTER WHAT. And then AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!

P.S.2: I only wish I would have boarded the first train from Prague to Warsaw and see their live there as well...I had my ticket to Warsaw with me.
